About Me and my family

I'm late 20's and have a lovely husband, cute doggy called Honey and the perfect 18 month old toddler........ (if only)
Seriously i love my family but it's hard work and I'm sure all the other working mums out there scraping by know how i feel.
We live in a small village in a 2 up 2 down which I'm proud to say I own, even with a hefty mortgage me and my husband work hard for our little abode. We have a little boy Ollie who is currently 18 months and as you will find from my posts he's a little handful who never does things by the book. I work part time in telecoms selling mobiles however my background is 10 years in travel. I have travelled the world including Hawaii, Caribbean and much more.

My blog is intended to hopefully find a mutual ground with mums like me who have a little one with a dairy free allergy or intolerance. Mums who work their backside off with not much in return. I do however see the comical side to life and the unexpected always seems to happen to me. Also i intend to provide many recipes using standard cupboard ingredients for the average working family. Easy to prepare and easy to source. I have googled many websites for "normal mums" for inspiration for recipes and struggle to find simple dairy free meals. Most of the time i have found the websites to have unrealistic  recipes with thousands of ingredients not easily accessible  from my local supermarket. As lovely as the recipe may seem i am on a budget and my dairy free little man I'm sure can be provided with easy to make meals. Time to experiment, and where I can I will also try supplementing my diet with a dairy free one too.

I personally am wheat intolerant which I will admit I put up with the pain and still eat some wheat as its very hard. I'm hoping my son won't have the same. I am waiting on my coeliac disease test results which could be a nightmare.

I enjoy looking at other blogs and regularly read them for real honest advice. I'm looking forward to venting my emotions and day to day life through my ups and downs.
